Are VPNs expensive?
As a general rule, VPN services are not that expensive – but you really do get what you pay for.
For instance, you can find completely free VPN services but these may be throttled in speed or service availability, where as paying for a premium service will give you a lot more freedom and an overall better service.
A lot of services also provide a trial, so you can try out the VPN and see if it suits you before you commit – many of these companies also offer a money back guarantee, so you can try it out for a while and if decide it’s not working out for you cancel your subscription and get your money back.
Subscribing just for a month is an option too, but you will generally get a much better discount if you commit for a longer time (ie. save up to 35% if you pay for a year in advance).
